Altior Sculpture

This incredible sculpture incorporates 572 recycled horseshoes, eight litres of paint and took seven months to create. Recreating the exuberant jump of the Nicky Henderson trained National Hunt superstar, who is unbeaten over hurdles and fences, the sculpture includes two of Altior's own shoes. The sculptor, Ben Lee, is self taught and a long-time fan of racing, citing Kauto Star, Tiger Roll and Altior as his favourites. Come and see this awe-inspiring structure at the Discover Racehorse Ownership Weekend.
