Unfortunately, the organisers of the annual Property Race Day (PRD) charity event, due to be held here at Ascot on 10th July 2020 have had to cancel this year’s event given current circumstances.
PRD raises, on average, approximately £250,000 each year for charities who work with disadvantaged children. Their work never stops and the cancellation of this event has come as a bitter blow to the five charities who were selected last autumn, namely: LandAid, WellChild, Trusts for African Schools, Dusty Yak and Chernobyl Children in Need.
To mitigate this funding loss, they have launched the opportunity to join The Foundation 500 – a one-off team of individuals and businesses who will each make a single contribution of £500 to ensure that those charities can keep up their wonderful work. They will also be donating 25% of the funds raised to the NHS to help them continue their magnificent work against the coronavirus.
Ascot Racecourse have signed up and made their £500 donation and should anyone personally or through their business which to sign up to The Foundation 500, donations and pledges can be made via Tessa Champion of JSC Comms ([email protected]
