IJF Ambassadors Programme - £35K raised

Today our sales team presented a cheque to the IJF for £35K representing the 2022 total raised via our IJF Ambassadors Programme.

The team were hosted by Lady Oaksey, the charity's Vice-Patron, who gave the team an insightful tour of the rehabilitation centre.  They also heard from beneficiaries including former jockey, George Baker, who suffered a life-changing fall in 2017 but who was nursed back to fitness by the charity and who now helps other jockeys return to racing as coach.

The IJF Ambassadors Programme was established in 2017 and works via a £1 donation per cover from the racecourse, plus on the day donations from fine-dining guests who receive a talk and tour from an ex-jockey.  An amazing £128K has been raised to date.

The team are now on a mission to entice even more guests to race with us so that the IJF ex-jockey team, led by David Crosse, can work their magic!
