Dingley's Promise is a charity that delivers life changing support to under 5s with special educational needs & disabilities (SEND), and their families.
Many children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), have been hugely affected by the pandemic, particularly the lack of access to key services and loss of essential interaction with other children and adults.
Many have lost physical developmental skills, speech and language skills and their emotional wellbeing has suffered tremendously. Parents have also relied heavily on Dingley's Promise's outreach support to manage their children’s needs, sometimes responding to challenging and unexpected behaviours whilst supporting them at home.
During the pandemic, Dingley’s Promise received emergency COVID funds, but these funds are no longer available and the demand for their services, as the children and families rebuild their lives, is greater than ever.
They have therefore launched the Dingley's Promise Pandemic Recovery Appeal, asking all supporters to consider making a donation if they are able.
