50th Anniversary of Riding for the Disabled

50th Anniversary of Riding for the Disabled

In recognition of the 50th Anniversary of Riding for the Disabled this month, on Friday, 4th October, we welcomed the
Windsor & Ascot Driving Group, together with Riding for the Disabled’s Chief Executive, Ed Bracher.

The group also held a bucket collection on the day raising over £1,600.

As an independent charity based in Ascot and a member of Riding for the Disabled Association, incorporating Carriage Driving, the group welcomes participants with a range of disabilities, both adults and children.

Ascot Racecourse has provided the driving group with a home for the last decade whilst also providing access to our grounds so as to run their sessions, currently held on Monday afternoons from March to November.
