Frankie Free To Ride At Ascot On Saturday

Godolphin has confirmed that Frankie Dettori will be free to ride in the Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup, the worlds highest profile international jockeys competition, this Saturday, August 12.

It had appeared possible earlier in the day that he might be required to ride for Godolphin at Haydock, but Simon Crisford, Godolphins racing manager, has now confirmed that he will be free to fulfil his now customary role as Jockey Captain for the Rest of the World Team.

Frankie team mates are Glen Boss from Australia, Doug Whyte from South Africa, Gerald Mosse from France, Emma-Jayne Wilson from Canada and Yuichi Fukunaga from Japan.
