Racing Summary
October Saturday traditionally brings the curtain down on Ascot's flat season and features the Group Three Sodexo Prestige Cornwallis Stakes and the Group Three Montpelier Bengough Stakes. Also on the card is the highly competitive £75,000 Ladbrokes Handicap over a mile and a half.
Entertainment Summary
The fourth annual Festival of Food takes place today. The Food Fair is being held in association with the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxford Food Group. Racegoers are able to race and shop, purchasing locally produced items from county suppliers while being serenaded by a traditional English Folk Band. Over 30 stands will be located around the Parade Ring selling cheeses, speciality breads, cakes, ciders, real ales, pasta, preserves, flowers, game and much, much more.
A Shop & Drop facility will be available for customers to leave their purchases while they enjoy the racing and pick them up at the end of the day.
